LEARN MORE ABOUT LUIGIWe are feeling beings and certainly complex. But we are not “complicated”; and certainly not problems to be fixed. This is the starting point of my approach to Jungian psychoanalysis and therapy.
As a young man, I thought I would become a writer and an actor. Instead, I earned a doctorate in Development Economics in Italy and a Diploma in European Economics at the College of Europe in Bruges. I went on to work in international relations and development, living in South Asia, Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean region, and spending extended periods in North Africa and the Middle East.
I have always been fascinated by relationships and human nature. Why are we instinctively drawn to some people and wary of others? Why do our contradictions and inconsistencies so often get pushed aside, only to return, time and again, in different forms? Immersed in different cultures and way of understanding life, I was unknowingly continuing to look for an answer.
As my career progressed, I moved into senior management, negotiation and institutional leadership. On the outside, things were going well. Much of what I did was meaningful. There were tangible results. My family was flourishing. Yet, over time, I came to recognize that a meaningful life could not rest on external achievements alone. Something in me was asking for a deeper understanding of the person behind the roles, responsibilities and accomplishments.
This gradual realisation led me to Jungian analysis. What began as a personal exploration gradually became a transformative process. My interest in human development and the search for meaning could find a deeper expression in the study of the psyche and in working with others.
After a period of personal preparation, I was accepted at the C. G. Jung Institute Zurich, where I completed my training. I gained clinical experience in a psychiatric setting in Geneva. I’m now an accredited Jungian analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich and a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
I work with individuals and couples seeking to understand the patterns in their life and relationships and with people exploring the meaning of powerful inner and creative experiences. My previous professional life continues to inform my analytical work: I have a particular appreciation for the challenges of professional responsibility, major life transitions, cultural displacement and the tensions that can emerge between outward success and inner fulfilment. I also worked with refugees trying to make sense of what comes after a successful “escape”.
At the heart of my work is the creation of a protected analytical space — a temenos: a place where what has been repressed can be given a voice; where contradictions can be explored rather than prematurely resolved; a place where compassion takes the place of judgement.
I believe that becoming more conscious does not mean becoming perfect or eliminating everything in ourselves that feels difficult. It means developing a more honest relationship with who we are, including the parts we do not like or we do not yet understand, and discovering new possibilities for living.

LEARN MORE ABOUT MANUELAI am an independent spirit, a mother and a seasoned professional.
Doctor in Law of the University of Milan, I worked five years in finance, before joining and serving for over three decades the European project.
A growing interest about the psychological roots of conflict lead me to Analytical Psychology and to the Carl Gustav Jung Institute of ZĂĽrich.
I trained as a Jungian Psychoanalyst, completing the required clinical internships in Switzerland, and in parallel I cooperated with NGO's offering emotional support to vulnerable groups.
Until 2024, as a Personal Development Analysts of the IMD (International Institute for Management Development), I accompanied young managers in transition to higher responsibilities or simply keen to explore their depths and fully develop their potential.
Today, I am an Accredited Analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute ZĂĽrich and a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
I propose Jungian analysis, Psychoanalytical counselling or Coaching in view of personal or professional development, depending on the needs of the individuals.
My approach is grounded in Analytical Psychology and focuses on creating a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, reflective space, where people can be themselves and speak openly and honestly, and where unconscious material can gradually become conscious.
This approach can be fruitful for people experiencing emotional distress of various nature, couples in relational tension, individuals in transition, expatriates/internationally mobile individuals, people pursuing personal or professional growth, from any background, cultural tradition and belief.
Besides and beyond dialogue, we pay attention to the raw images provided by the unconscious - through dreams' exploration, symbolic and imaginal work, sandplay and other expressive methods, without neglecting emotional and bodily experience.
The aim of our work together is not to "fix" the persons, but rather to support their deeper relationship with their Self and therefore the unfolding of psychological wholeness.
We aim for a life with meaning, lived in full consciousness.
We aim for meaningful relationships.
We aim for completeness, not perfection.
